Eagle Scout comes through for pet-rescue organization 
Man’s best friend may be a dog, but Mitchell Howard, an 18-year-old Eagle Scout, is a dog’s best friend. Mitchell, a senior at Cajon High School in San Bernardino, donated two truckloads of necessities and creature comforts - in addition to $300 cash - to animals as his Eagle Scout Project.
